A response in the Y direction is superposed on the fast-axis driver or the slow-axis driver, such that the response in the Y direction caused by the fast-axis driving is offset by the response superposed in the Y direction. By introducing an equal quantity reverse to that of the response in the Y direction caused by the fast-axis driving, the offset effect is generated to offset an out-of-plane response in a fast axis, so that the response in the fast axis is a horizontal straight line. At this point, an area in which the image is displayed is a regular rectangle, namely, the out-of-plane response is corrected. Therefore, accurate control of a scanning trace is realized, and the display resolution and performance of a scanned image are improved. Further disclosed is an optical fiber scanner.
