Abstract: A drill pipe mountable wellbore cleaning tool apparatus is of an improved configuration that enables attachment to a drill pipe joint having first and second connector end and a cylindrically shaped portion between the connector ends. The drill pipe joint with attached debris cleaning tool or tools is made part of a drill string. The apparatus includes a support sleeve mounted to the drill pipe joint between the connector ends. The support sleeve abuts without invading the integrity of the cylindrical portion. Centralizers are attached to the opposing ends of and are overlapping a portion of the support sleeve. The support sleeve carries one or more debris cleaning tools in between the centralizers to remove debris from a wellbore. At least one locking clamp is attached to the cylindrical portion next to a said centralizer, which prevents the support sleeve from moving longitudinally along the drill pipe joint. A drill pipe mountable wellbore cleaning tool apparatus is of an improved configuration that enables attachment to a drill pipe joint having first and second connector end and a cylindrically shaped portion between the connector ends. The drill pipe joint with attached debris ...more ...less

Abstract: An embodiment includes a wireline standoff that may ameliorate the effects of wireline cable differential sticking, wireline cable key seating, and high cable drags by reducing or eliminating contact of the wireline cable with the borehole wall during the logging operation. An embodiment includes a wireline standoff. The wireline standoff may comprise a pair of opposing assemblies. The opposing assemblies may each comprise a half shell, a cable insert configured to be disposed in the half shell, and external fins coupled to the half shell. The wireline standoff may further comprise one or more fasteners configured to couple the opposing assemblies to one another. An embodiment includes a wireline standoff that may ameliorate the effects of wireline cable differential sticking, wireline cable key seating, and high cable drags by reducing or eliminating contact of the wireline cable with the borehole wall during the logging operation. Abstract: Stop collars may be fixedly mounted on a liner or other tubular member. The stop collar comprises a first sleeve and a second sleeve. The sleeves are adapted to extend around the outer circumference of the tubular member and are engaged by threaded connections. The sleeves provide opposing inner thrust surfaces. The collar further comprises a radially expandable gripping member disposed between the opposing thrust surfaces. The sleeves may be drawn together by rotation about the threaded connection to cause the thrust surfaces to bear on the gripping member and expand the gripping member radially inward into frictional engagement with the tubular member. Stop collars may be fixedly mounted on a liner or other tubular member. The stop collar comprises a first sleeve and a second sleeve. The sleeves are adapted to extend around the outer circumference of the tubular member and are engaged by threaded connections. The sleeves ...more ...less

Abstract: What is provided is a method and apparatus wherein a swivel can be detachably connected to an annular blowout preventer thereby separating the drilling fluid or mud into upper and lower sections and allowing the fluid to be displaced in two stages, such as while the drill string is being rotated and/or reciprocated. In one embodiment the sleeve or housing can be rotatably and sealably connected to a mandrel. The swivel can be incorporated into a drill or well string and enabling string sections both above and below the sleeve to be rotated in relation to the sleeve. In one embodiment the drill or well string does not move in a longitudinal direction relative to the swivel. In one embodiment, the drill or well string does move longitudinally relative to the sleeve or housing of the swivel.
