Abstract: A vehicle comprising: an internal combustion engine configured to generate an engine torque using high-gasoline content fuel; at least one fuel injector configured to deliver the high-gasoline content fuel to a cylinder of the engine; at least one heating element configured to heat the high-gasoline content fuel prior to it being delivered to the cylinder by the fuel injector; a fuel pump connected to the heating element to supply high-gasoline to the heating element, the fuel pump being configured to pressurise the high-gasoline content fuel; and an engine controller configured to control the engine torque generated by the engine and control the fuel pressure generated by the fuel pump, the engine controller using a heated-fuel behaviour model of the engine, when the fuel is being heated by the heating element(s), to: (i) control an amount of fuel delivered by the fuel injector, the heated-fuel behaviour model causing a reduced fuel injection amount for a given engine torque relative to unheated high-gasoline content fuel; and (ii) cause a higher fuel pressure to be generated by the fuel pump relative to unheated high-gasoline content fuel. Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a control device for an internal combustion engine with which it is possible to favorably control an engine even if there could occur a difference in temperatures of fuel injected into respective cylinders. The present invention is a control device for an internal combustion engine, for controlling an internal combustion engine provided with fuel injection valves for directly injecting fuel respectively to a plurality of cylinders, wherein: the control device is provided with a fuel temperature acquiring means for acquiring respective temperatures of fuel injected to each of the cylinders; and at least one of a fuel injection valve control amount, ignition control amount, and intake and exhaust valve control amount of each of the cylinders is set in accordance with the respective temperatures of fuel acquired by the fuel temperature acquiring means. Abstract: A circuit configuration for inductively heating at least one fuel injection valve includes a power-transistor full-bridge circuit which acts as a driver for operating a series resonant circuit at an alternating voltage at or near the resonant frequency. The series resonant circuit includes a heater coil on which the resulting voltage can be significantly higher than the supply voltage. The power that can be fed to the heater coil can be modified or controlled by changing the frequency or the duty factor of the control signals of the switching elements of the bridge circuit. A fuel injection valve and methods for operating the circuit configuration are also provided. Abstract: A composite intake system and method of operating a rotary engine with variable intake manifold is provided. The system includes two switching valves in a secondary intake switching tube to change the intake method. When the rotary engine works under low speed conditions, it adopts the long intake manifold and the side-intake mode.
